Each May, the American Stroke Association teams up with the American Heart Association to advocate stroke awareness and education. As stroke is treatable and preventable, it is critical that people learn to recognize the warning signs and seek immediate medical attention-- acting F.A.S.T. can truly save lives.
To that end, the organizations have created a public service campaign called "F.A.S.T." that helps people identify the symptoms of stroke and teaches them to take action. Learn the signs and become a Stroke Hero!
